Welcome! I’m Susan Troutt. I write children’s books: novels for middle grade readers and young adults, and books for adults too.
Do you like to laugh? My Jake series is funny, easy to read, and just right for kids in grades 2-5.
If you like stories that are mysterious and a little out of the ordinary, then try my Tales from the Granite Countertop series. It’s recommended for readers in grades 4-9.

My adult book, Ironically Short, is full of short stories for adults only.
